Silent T. V.Level 1
For years, silent film, television and theatre have been an effective way to get a point across. Developing nonverbal communication and being able to interpret them are valuable skills to have.
To help gain or improve these skills, you can play a simple game of charades. All you have to do is get slips of paper and write actions, places, names, movie titles, song titles--basically anything. Put all of these slips of paper into a hat or a bowl and get some friends together. Take turns acting out the cards. Everyone who is not acting gets to guess what the actor is trying to portray. Keep in mind, the actor cannot use any words.
